Working With Chart
PowerPoint can use Microsoft Graph application to create powerful charts in your presentation. In addition to the common chart types such as column, bar line and pie. to add a chart to your presentation from the auto layout dialog box as text & chart or click insert chart Icon from the standard toolbar.
Setting the Chart Option
You can set overall chart options for the type you selected in the chart Option dialog box. Microsoft Graph in-
1. Click Chart menu and click chart option to display the dialog box.
2. Make any necessary changes with in the tabs of this dialog box and then click Ok to apply them to your presentation.
To Create an Organization Chart
The first way to add an organization chart using chart to your presentation is to select the Organization chart from the Auto layout dialog box. Double click the organization chart to open the Microsoft Organization chart window.
Formatting the Chart
You can create an organization chart using the default formatting option or you can make modify to a chart text, style, color, boxes and lines. You can change or add to chart such as Title, Axes, Legend and others option.
Working With Table
The easy way to add a table to your PowerPoint presentation is to select Auto Layout from the new slide dialog box or click tables and Borders Icon from the Formatting toolbar and click table button, then type new value number of Column & Rows and click Ok.
Formatting the Table
o Apply the different styles, widths and colors.
o Insert and delete Rows and columns.
o Merges and Split Cells.
o Align cell text to the top, bottom or center.
o You can use the tables and Borders toolbar to access all PowerPoint table-formatting options.
To Merge and Split Cells
1. To merge cells, select the cells and click the merge and click merge cells button on the table and Border toolbar.
2. To Split cell, select the cell and click the table button and split cell on the table and borders toolbar.
To change the Page Setup
Before you print you will to setup page options such as default output and orientation.
1. Click file menu and click page setup, to open the page setup dialog box.
2. Select your output from the slide Sized drop-down list.
3. Change the new value Height and Width boxes.
4. Choose the organization slides for landscape or portrait.
5. Click Ok to close this dialog box.
Printing the Slides
To print an open PowerPoint presentation, follow theses steps;
1. Click file menu and click print or press ctrl + P, to open the print box.
2. Select the printer you want to use from the name list.
3. Select the print Range,
All prints all slides in the presentation.
Current slide print only the current selected slide.
Select: Prints the selected slides, for example, if you select specific slides in the outline pane, only these slides print.
Custom show: Enables you to select a custom show to print.
Slide: Enter the numbers of the slides you want print.
4.Enter the number of copies you want to print.
5.Specify what you want to the print what list.
6.Click Ok to print.
